Mitsubishi Electric develops two PCM types.
There are two types of Powertrain Control Modules, SIM and HIM. The SIM is an ultra
small structure intended to be directly mounted on the engine. Features include bare chip
mounting, waterproof construction. Directly mounting on the engine results in a low
system cost, a lightweight package. It utilizes the wide passenger compartment,
simplifies wire harnessing. |
