Idle Speed Control Valve

Description

The idle speed control valve allows the ECU to change engine idle speed to meet different engine conditions. The control valve type is a step motor. Flow-rate accuracy is high; neither flow-rate ripple nor errors are caused by hysterics. Using the screw mechanism the valve position converts the rotor angle into axial direction. Neither temperature nor voltage variation influences the idle control valve. Accurate engine idle speed control results in high drivability, improved emissions, fuel economy.
