Mitsubishi Electric Receives GM Supplier of the Year Award
for Third Straight Year
Northville Township, Mich., May 10, 2002 – Mitsubishi Electric today announced it has been named as a General Motors Supplier of the Year for 2001. The award was given during ceremonies April 27, 2002, in Toronto.
Mitsubishi Electric supplies ignition coil modules from its Maysville, Ky., plant for engines used in General Motors cars and trucks worldwide. It is one of only 91 suppliers to have received the award. Winners must meet the highest standards for quality, service, technology and price.
